Opening Dining Rooms 6/19 for Father's Day weekend with motto "Reservations Prefered"
We pulled appart tables, created Box Seating, and two Private Dining rooms with 6 and 10 chairs.
Spacial seating organized in groups 4-6, 6-8. We can remove lightweight partitions for larger groups, and still keep maintaning 6 feet of facial spacing between back-to-back seating Guests. We even have a seperate family dining area, serving a group of 8-18 Guests.
Foremost, we Sincerely Thank our Patrons whom did not let Balaton's kitchen-stove go cold since March 16th. You helped us throu a great trial of our times.
We continue servicing the Carry-Out orders through the back, Kitchen door. Carry out pick ups are much faster now as our staff is returning to work. In order to maintain traffic flow, avoiding congestion, please call your order in ahead of desired pickup time. Large Orders and Deliveries are taken a day ahead to smoothly fit into our schedule.

Dining rooms Re-Open 6/19, We are wiping chairs, tables after each group. Cleaning, disinfecting our entire facility every day. Our elevated level of cleanliness had been always above standards, and Our Dining Rooms are ready to meet elevated Standards.

Information on these services:
Take-Out / Curbside Pick-up at the back door and given a 10 minutes time-slot to better maintain traffic in the back Parking area. In most cases You drive thru a maintained lane at the back-door by our Kitchen. In some cases You may park and walk back, but stay outside at the Kitchen-door while we process your payment.
Home Delivery is available if your order is greater than $60, and within Five miles we charge only a 20% tip. We suggest Home Delivery orders one day ahead, larger orders should call several days ahead. Orders further than 5 miles radius will be charged a delivery fee greater than basic 20% tipline.

Hello from the city of Rock and Roll and Balaton Restaurant. We have been serving Clevelander's and tourists coming to Cleveland since 1964. Did you know?.... Cleveland holds the largest number of Hungarians, outside of the Karpathyan basin.
About Us Balaton Restaurant in Cleveland is most famous for it's superb Wiener Schnitzel and a variance of that, the Chicken Schnitzel. Other fine offerings on the menu include: Stuffed Cabbages, Goulashes, and the Hungarian Lecso, a yellow paprika and tomato based summer stew, and of course Chicken Paprikash.
Dinner then culminated with a delightful dessert, not too sweet,... just right.... the home made blincess, or Crepe Suzette, or Palacsinta with apricot, walnut, sweet cottage cheese, or poppy seed fillings. There are other deserts making dinner complete.
For those of legal age, we are bringing simply good wine from the gentle hills of Lake Balaton region. Those having a taste for wine with hardier character, we have some for you from the Northern regions of Hungary. *Also a selection of California wine and International beer.
