Rick Stevens paying a visit to Hungary could not resist the taste and aroma of the capital, Budapest. The rich culture go hand to hand like arts and crafts of the Country, and culinary traditions go hand to mouth.
The wide ranging experience will make you wishing for more. More music, more colour, more conversation, more taste-caleidoscope. You feel more alive where people do not blend down, or water down their concepts or their food. To this traveler, the writer of this addition, the music and lyrics of Hungary remains a Great Story in the making. Much as a dinner at the countless old world restaurants in European cities and countryside. Find dozens of additions on Youtube.com by Rick Steves and our own photo presentations at Balaton Restaurant.
There are still places in the world where you could talk about most Anything, and just never mind the weather outside..
Meet our Building Company, Nest Homes Construction, has been a long-timer in the Cleveland area. Full service General Contracting with mostly in house sub-trades doing the work. http://www.nesthomesconstruction.com/home
During the weekdays in January 2007, we are going to renovate, paint the facilities and replace equipment. During the four-phase renovation we will always stay open for the weekends, Friday-Saturday-Sunday, regular hours. Partial renovation of bathrooms, painting in diningrooms and some new equipment in the kitchen is in order for now.
Much like in 1997 this group of professionals did a 100% Custom Renovation here, in our current location. The 1928 building was lovingly stripped inside of all obsolete plumbing and electrical components, heating and cooling systems. Of course walls and ceilings had to come down in the process. Once the structure was evaluated the new plans were made and our design was taking shape. All the electro-mechanical was installed up to date standards, layout became handicap accessible. Meantime old world non-symetrical oak-flooring was designed and made in Middlefield to restore the exact flooring as it was seen on Shaker Square and neighboring residences. In the winter custom flooring was installed by Nest Homes and addorned by wallnut pluggings, the walls trimmed out with oak. Then we reopened in April 1998.
